At BridgeChile, we care about your progress and know that quality teachers are a fundamental part of how quickly you’ll learn Spanish. All of our teachers have university degrees and have been especially trained in our unique methodology. They are selected for their outgoing and dynamic personalities, their patience, creativity, friendliness and most importantly, for their enthusiasm for teaching.
As you can see from the following selected profiles of a few of our Spanish instructors, our qualified teaching staff comes from a variety of backgrounds. What they have in common is a passion for teaching and a genuine interest in sharing their language and culture with you.

Maria Angélica Tapia
María Angélica
has been with BridgeChile since 1993, teaching Spanish,
English and French. She is the school’s most worldly
teacher, having lived 18 years abroad. She has taught
Spanish and English in many places, including the Chilean
Embassy in Morocco, an agency of the United Nations in
Kenya, several
universities in France, and a high school in Cameroon.
Maria Angélica enjoys teaching her native language
as she is able to meet people from different countries
and cultures. She also likes being able to open a door
to a new culture for her students. In her free time, Maria
Angélica is an avid tennis player and a talented
painter.

Liliana Blanco
Lily has been teaching Spanish
and English at BridgeChile since we first opened our doors
in Santiago. She studied Spanish and English Education
at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, and truly enjoys
sharing her language and culture with students.
A vivacious teacher, Lily says that one of the greatest
rewards is when her Spanish students thank her after their
course for having taught them so much. In her off- hours
she enjoys barbecues, fiestas, and getting together with
friends. Lily also loves to sing and dance and has even
been known to teach the national folk dance, the Cueca,
at students' request.

Paulina González
Paulina studied Literature and Linguistics at
the
Universidad Católica. She has taught
both Spanish and English at BridgeChile
since 2001. One of the reasons she enjoys
teaching Spanish so much is because she
has the opportunity to share knowledge of
both her language and culture with her
students. In her free time she enjoys
practicing yoga, going to new restaurants in
Santiago, and reading.
